Lars Dorsch, Stephan Prantl and Stefan Rose got together in the early nineties in Cologne to start Wethepeople to sell tshirts at contests and jams.

Later on they produced the 14mm hub which is now the street standard. Eventually Klaus Dyba and Harald Schmid joined the team and grew the brand into the small empire that it is today. The flow but pro side of the company is the international riders team which features famous names such as Andrew Jackson, Bruno Hoffman and Sam Lowe. The is a purist team of freestyle only riders. Wethepeople have recently added to their quality BMX series with the Justice, Reason, Crysis, Arcade and Trust range of bicycles.
