Advantageous features, such as a tapered head tube, a press-fit bottom bracket, and Scott`s Shock Damping System in the rear triangle make the Scale a strong and smooth rideScott carbon frames feature precision carbon dropouts and replaceable aluminum derailleur hangers for maximum weight savings and durability During Scott`s Integrated Molding Process (IMP), the top/head/down-tube section is produced in a single step, which ensures the lightest weight by removing all unnecessary material. The front end is then joined to the rear triangle creating a frame that`s incredibly light and efficient. This frame uses Scott’s HMX carbon in key areas. This special ultra-light and stiff carbon adds rigidity, saves weight and improves every ride. Frame weight: 899 grams Choose your preferred fork (sold separately) from our wide selection.
