FULL DESCRIPTION	The Raleigh Pioneer 1 bike is perfect for city riding and leisurely cruises along country lanes. A great value every day bike. Benefiting from Raleigh`s low step thru ladies lightweight aluminium comfort trekking frame you have an upright riding position so less pressure on the lower back. The adjustable stem allows you to refine your riding position to suit you. Designed to be functional, durable and reliable the Pioneer 1 is equipped with easy-to-use Shimano 6 speed gears with Shimano Revoshift twist shifters for smooth gear changes. The rigid steel unicrown fork is lighter than a suspension fork and offers nimble handling whilst being maintenance free! The Pioneer 1 also benefits from assured braking with light-action alloy V-brakes, strong durable double walled rims, 700C wheels and tyres for low rolling resistance. The braking surfaces on the lightweight alloy rims have been finished using a computer controlled machine for improved braking performance. The Raleigh Pioneer 1 also benefits from "puncture protection" tyres for extra peace of mind. Full length mudguards and chain cover give protection for clean cycling. Comfort is added with the ergonomic "Selle Royal Rio" saddle and soft dual density grips. For extra convenience a rear carrier is fitted, great for commuters, and an alloy kickstand are included.
