A fantastic bike shop and most importantly, the people, service, and knowledge are admirable. I enquired by phone and told them what sort of bike I was looking for and what budget I had. The same day they rang me back and within a week I was collecting the bike from the shop, all set up and ready to ride. I've upgraded with mudguards which the shop supplied and the workshop set up the tyres tubeless. Second bike my family has bought from them and hopefully more in the future. My Cannondale Scalpel purchased elsewhere had an issue with the forks from new. They removed and returned to Rockshox. So not much in it for them really, just a bit of labour. I dealt with several of the team and all were really engaged, helpful and friendly from start to finish. It was as if I had just bought the bike from them. A really good representation for Cannondale and for local bike shops. I'll certainly be using Damian Harris Cycles for future maintenance on my Cannondal Scalpel.

Ordered my Cube 625 Hybrid Pro electric bike last November. Damian told me there was a long wait for delivery. He kept me fully informed as to when my expected delivery date was due. When my bike was due for delivery, I went to the shop, and he set the bike up for me to suit my riding requirements. He also gave me loads of advice on how to maintain and look after my bike. Definitely would go back to Damian for another bike. Six months of happy riding behind me. Thank you, Damian.

I needed something to replace my beloved but ageing CAAD 8 which would also be a more relaxed ride. After popping into the the shop to speak to the team I chose the Topstone 2. The guys swapped out the gravel tyres for more suitable 32mm road tyres for my type of riding. So far I have had the the bike out on 3 club rides and it is remarkably comfortable, the super compact running gear gives a huge gear range and the hydraulic disc brakes have a wonderful combination of of braking modulation and stopping power. The topstone is an ideal club leisure bike and with its ability to take a rack I could imagine touring on it. Great bike with helpful advice from the guys at Damian Harris.

I live in Kent and it’s a shame I have to look over 200 miles away to get consistent service. Received my lapierre overvolt 5.5 today .after taking ages ,ages to unpack .Not really I was like a 12 yr old at Xmas. On inspection it came very well packaged all I had to do Was sort the bars out and on with the pedals .All was fantastic easy to get sorted .within 15 mins I was out on a quick test ride the build and feel was top notch and the pick up from the motor far exceeded my expectations.after the ride I called the guys at Damien's to say how happy I was .and the response was even better as I was told any issues to call back and they would sort them or arrange to have it sorted .Now that's what I call service up and Beyond .again a Massive thanks to all who sourced sorted and help all of my dealings to get my superberb bike .I will deffo be in touch for my next summer bike ...... Hi Damian Harris, First of all let’s be realistic. Bikes in the pandemic and with Brexit haven’t been easy to get hold of. I ordered mine knowing I wouldn’t get it immediately and that was ok ????. Damian Harris Cycles were legendary. They sourced the bike and had it delivered to me. I’m not the brightest when it comes to putting things together! I emailed Damian and he sorted a replacement bolt/cap (I broke the cap ????) immediately and I got it in the post the very next day. I cannot recommend Damian and his team enough. These guys are absolutely superb. I will freely admit to being a "high maintenance" customer, but nothing was too much trouble for them. Expert advice meant I ended up purchasing a bike make I had not considered for the same price. The bike has arrived (delivery was very quick) and it is far better suited to my requirements. I highly recommend Damian and his team, even with the mayhem of COVID their customer service was flawless. Will certainly be coming back to them for future purchases.

Because of Covid, I couldn't visit any shops and after ringing around and trying to find info on the internet, I got the best advice from Ethan, who was knowledgeable and patient. We wanted two new electric Bromptons, and Damian rang back and was able to organise that for us including courier to here in Alton. It all went through very smoothly, and despite me continuing to ask numerous questions when they were clearly busy, they were always there to give excellent service on the phone and they were very responsive over email. The bikes are now with us and we are delighted with them, and can genuinely say that the service was excellent and personal. Many thanks to you, and we would not hesitate to recommend them.

I bought a Bombtrack Hook in October 2020. I placed the order on line and the shop called within a few hours to check my purchase and choice of frame size. I think it was Damian I spoke to and he was very helpful as I was unsure which size to get. I took his advice and ordered a small frame size. The bike arrived within 10 days which was very quick as I was advised that there might be some delays due to Covid. Bike size is spot on for me so I'm glad I took Damians advice. I've only ever dealt with them on line or by phone but I can't fault the service I've received. Will be happy to buy from them again in the future. 10/10.

Excellent service from Damian Harris Cycles. Bought a bike online on Wednesday and it arrived two days later! Considering that they are in Cardiff and I'm in Kent, that is amazing. The phone communication was friendly and helpful. They called to check sizing, etc, with me and even took photos to check I was happy with the colour. The bike was well packed, so no damage would occur. I would really recommend them.

Good morning Damian (and colleagues) Here's a quick note to thank you for the amazingly professional set up of my new electric bike - it arrived yesterday and I've had my first commute on it this morning. It's ideal, even the saddle was the correct height. With lockdown, I wasn't able to come and copllect the bike, but you sorted out shipping, which was spot on. Top marks for the packaging too - perfectly protected. I ordered a bike several months ago, and you made it clear that it would be a while until it came in, what with everything going on in the world. Long story short, I contacted you a few months after ordering, and there was still no confirmed date for the bike that I originally ordered, but you were able to suggest an alternative. I know that you only sell proper bikes, so I trusted your recommendation, and it was spot on. I bought this using the cycle to work scheme - again, you were incredibly helpful about that, too, and that all worked without a hitch. You won't recall, but this sale was the result of Damian's helpfulness one rainy Saturday morning last November. I came in for brake shoes for another bike, and I asked about electric hybrids. You took a good few minutes to show me the options available. With hindsight, I should have bought it there and then! Thanks again for keeping going.

Hi Damian, I was chatting to Ethan and he asked if I would mind dropping you a line with some positive customer feedback which I am delighted to do. My experience with Damian Harris Cycles was 5* for the following reasons: 1. Sales advice was spot on and extremely knowledgeable pointing me to both bicycles I bought with very different requirements. They were both bullseyes and my wife and I are delighted with our Cannondale/Bergamont eMTBs. 2. The purchase was done reasonably and that was despite stock flying out of the door - I was given a fair and competitive quote including assembly/set up and express delivery. Though this supplier is not local I would unhesitatingly return for future purchases. 3. Last but very much not least, the assembly and set up of both bikes was excellent, there were no snags, oversights and both bikes needed minimal attention (fitting of pedals and tightening headstock), pressures and tensions were exactly right. Very impressive and properly professional preparation. So, in summary, this company really know their stuff, are great to deal with and provide professional preparation and after sales. I wanted to share the below feedback which you are welcome to also place on the website. It was a big decision to purchase a bike without physically going to the shop but I took the plunge after speaking with Damien over the phone. The bike I was after had to be ordered from the manufacturer and I called a number of times for updates which Damien and the team were happy to provide (Covid 19 caused increase in demand and logistical / staffing challenges at manufacturers). Damien and his team really excelled in their customer service and gave me a very positive experience with this purchase, I could not recommend them enough. Having received the bike I had to call the store with a question and they immediately helped and answered my question allowing me to get out on my first ride. Hi, I visited Damian's shop at the start of the year to look at purchasing my second e-bike. Although I had in mind a specific bike, having discussed other bikes with Damian, he suggested I look at the Haibike Sduro. In the shop they had the 3.0, which I tried for size, and I went away to think it over, looked at the Haibike range and in particular the higher specification 7.0, which had the new Bosch 2020 motor. I went back to Damian's shop the next week and by chance he had the model I wanted in stock. I had it delivered within a week of ordering, and I have had the bike for a number of weeks, and it is excellent to ride, particularly with the fatter tyres and the Bosch motor. I have been out on a number of rides, and have been amazed at the capacity of the battery. Although, I live in quite a hilly part of Wales, near the Brecon Beacons, I have cycled using eco mode, or battery off mode most of the time, and will have achieved over 100 miles on a single charge. That is great mileage considering I am 65 years old, and it is such an enjoyable bike to ride. The new Bosch motor, makes the bike easy to ride both with the motor assisting or switched off. The quality of the bike is excellent, and the higher specification I believe is worth the additional cost, particularly the Bosch motor and battery. Overall I am well pleased with my new e-bike purchase, and looking forward to many bike rides over the coming summer. At least going out on the bike keeps you fit and helps your wellbeing throughout the Coronavirus situation, and the social distancing is no problem on the bike. The only fault, I have had is the Bosch display, is showing some bleed marks, which Alex in the shop said is rare occurrence, and will replace the unit when I will shortly be taking the bike back to the shop to be checked over Thanks Damian, I am very pleased with my Haibike Sduro 7.0, and would recommend the bike, and a visit to his shop if you are concidering purchasing a new e-bike. I just want to say a massive thank you to Damian who I have communicated with on a few occasions via email and phone. From the very first conversation nothing seemed too much hence why I purchased my Pashley Guvnor through him. I had looked at various dealers but thankfully I chose the right one. Once ordered I was told it would be 2-3 weeks as the bike needed to be ordered from Pashley direct to them where they carry out their final checks. Surprisingly I received an email yesterday to say the bike would be delivered today (week after ordering). The bike did indeed arrive this morning and what a beaut this vintage styled Pashley is. I can’t speak highly enough of the customer service received from these guys. I ordered a Scott Genius online and had further communication via the phone and every staff member I spoke to was friendly, knowledgable and helpful. The bike arrived in good time, especially considering the difficulties posed by the Covid19 lockdown and it was brilliantly packaged and ready to ride out of the box, just needed to straighten the handlebars and put my pedals on. The bike is awesome and the team at Damien Harris have clearly taken their time and cut no corners in ensuring the bike is properly assembled and prepared. After an early morning commute puncture, I popped in at lunchtime just to borrow a track pump. I cannot praise the guys in the shop high enough. After noticing that the tyre had become unseated on the rim they took the wheel off and took the tube out and seated the tube and tyre back on the rim. They then went on to reassemble the tyre and pump back up to pressure. I was told there would be no charge for the service I had received. I would just like to take the time to thank the guys again and to Damian Harris Cycles for the great service they provide.

I have been considering buying an E Bike for sometime, but there are so many out there. Glad i went to Damian Harris Cycles as the advice they gave was just what i needed, plain and simple. In the end i bought a Cube Reaction Pro 500 eMTB from them. I have had it for 2 weeks now and used in almost everyday, no problems and great fun. Worth the 200 mile round trip the shop.

Hello all, bike arrived, headed straight out on it and... it's incredible. I only meant to go for a quick test but ended up on the other side of the valley exploring places I've not seen in ~5 years living up here. It's big, was worried when I first stepped over in the kitchen the frame was too big, but out riding it's perfect - I'm used to my Brompton and Moulton. The colour's even grown on me already. Will have to replace those pedals though... Thanks for helping me out with this, it'll make a huge difference living where we do. Even the MAMILs can't cycle up our hill as it's so steep, which means I've not done much cycling myself since we moved here. Many thanks Jonathon. J

Searched the net and went to a few shops for a Electric bike which will be able to fit me as I am only 5ft 3 but had no luck. Found Damian harris cycles online and straight away they said they could help. I made a 80 mile trip and they were completely right. Damian kindly sat me on a Cube bike which fitted me perfectly. OK, so I decided to cross over to the 'Dark Side' (Apparently) and get an e-MTB. Looked around at dealers but decided to pop down to Damians place in Cardiff on the 11th of August as they had what I was after. Had a chat with them and felt comfortable with the staff who knew what they were talking about but didnt buy as I still needed thinking time because its such a big spend and it has to be right. After giving it some thought the following week I made my order with Damian and went down to collect the bike on the 19th and what a thing it is, a ridiculously beautiful beast of a bike, incredible German engineering at its best. The bike look amazing in the pics and videos but when you are up close and personal with a Haibike Xduro Allmtn 9.0 you cant help but drool. So, the reason for choosing Damian Harris Cycles? They know their e-bike stuff, they are friendly bunch of guys, they were helpful and they made me feel comfortable in should I ever needed back up or support in the unlikely event of having any problems, they woulkd be there to help and assist so thanks very much guys for the killer eMTB!!

I bought a Cube Attain in January but as I was abroad it was delivered to my sister’s house. I’ve just picked it up and the bike was well packaged and protected and easy to assemble. Best part is that it rides like a dream. Fast, responsive but comfortable. Great Now for the Col du Tourmalet. Great service and highly recommended.

I wanted a road bike and researched the internet extensively and came across the Damian Harris website which was easy to use. I called the shop and spoke to Damian in person. We chatted for about 39 minutes during which time we discussed my requirements in a relaxed and unhurried manner - more a consultation than a sale - and Damian came up with exactly the right bike at the right price. I could not be happier with the customer service I received. I was looking for a second hand Frog Bike online for my soon to be 6 year old when I came across one that looked good and decided to order it, the next day I received a phonecall to tell me that that particular bike had already been sold and shouldn't have been on the website, but rather than leave me and my daughter disappointed, Damian Harris Cycles went out of their way to find me exactly the same bike for exactly the same price. It's odd to be based in Belfast, and to have to go to Cardiff to get the bike I wanted, but it was so worth it. I tried dozens of shops - including the big ones, and was frustrated with what came back. When I got in touch with Damian's team though, it was a totally different experience. The attitude was very much 'can-do', let's source the bike, yes we can get it to NI, yes we can wait for the voucher, yes we can add this or that - and the professional advice was brilliant. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Brilliant.

Having had many many many years off the saddle I was looking for a bike via the cycle to work scheme. I visited a number of independent stores around South Wales and was surprised with the lack of assistance and bad customer service. I know a £1000 is not a lot in today's bike prices but it is still a lot of money. When the bike I wanted was not available any more, Damian Harris researched and found an alternative with the same spec. He tried to order this but this too was no longer available so he researched and found another. I checked the bike, liked it and went for it. I have to say it is a dream to ride and perfect for me. He spent time checking the bike would be the correct size and gave valuable information on maintenance etc. I just wish the store was closer to my house !!

Excellent personal service from Damian and good advice on bike sizing. I had some modifications made to the new bike which were completed perfectly. I ordered over the phone, paid on Saturday and received the new bike on Tuesday. Well packaged and just as I had expected. I haven't ever been to DH cycles, but I met Tom from DH out on the trails in Cwmcarn; he spotted that my bike was missing a brake caliper mounting bolt! He voluntarily gave up one of his stem clamp bolts to fix it - Top bloke, and a very quick rider too.

I write again - shortly after receiving the bike, I had trouble with the gears. What I didn't know was that I was not using the bike correctly at that time (my previous eight speed Shimono hub gear worked differently). Of course this was unknown to Damien, not only did he respond immediately, he was prepared to take the bike back and "fix it" for me and then send it back to me free of charge. What more can someone ask for from customer service. They definitely do not leave you in the lurch, put you to the back of the queue, or ignore you once the sale has been made. They take the risk out of shopping online and this alone makes purchasing from them safe secure and pleasurable.

Top company to do buy from. Advice is spot on - they wont sell you any old bike; Damian stopped me buying a more expensive bike as the (cheaper) model he chose was actually better for my needs. We ran into some delivery problems, due to the carriers not DH Cycles, but Damian sorted it out well after closing time to see his promise to me right. - DH Cycles are a leader in Customer Service and fair pricing.

Hi there, Just to say I have received my new Bosch Cube 400 Pro E-Bike and that I have already assembled it and had a quick try. A bit of adjustment on the seat was all that was required, and after a quick trip round the estate to get the feel of it, I was really impressed. I started by using it as my existing cycle, in bottom gear; and Economy. Then I rapidly found that it would happily pull away in a higher ratio. I am so impressed with it; and the efficiency with which my queries and order were dealt with. I have already recommended several interested neighbours with your Company. When a website says "epic customer service", they are clearly setting the bar pretty high. Well, unlike many that make such stellar claims a about their customer service, this company actually deliver! My chosen bike was out of stock and despite their best efforts, one could not be sourced. Damian Harris himself rang my husband and spoke to him about alternatives. I was pretty sceptical as I'd set my heart on a particular model with a lady specific frame and a very specific motor and battery (so my electric bike's engine matched my husband's, I didn't want him to go speeding off up the huge hills here, leaving me behind). There were no other ladies models with the same engine and motor within our price range. After a couple of phone calls direct to manufacturers, Damian range back with a perfect solution. A unisex frame in the perfect size with the manufacturer specifically setting it up for me (changing the length/height of various components). He took all the relevant measurements from me and my bike arrived yesterday (less than 2 weeks after ordering, despite being told to expect 2-3 weeks). The bike is perfect, better than my original choice and still within my price bracket. It is the Bergamont Roxtar C 8.0 500 E-Bike and is wonderfully made. My husband is now very jealous as my electric bike is better than his (seemingly he is particularly envious of my forks!). Please do not hesitate to buy your bike from Damian Harris or indeed buy the Roxtar, both are truly "epic".

After the bike arriving late (which unfortunately the shop cannot be in control of), I was excited to say the least. The bike arrived on a Friday and by Saturday they had it set up for me, fork/shock pressure (all bar a few personal touches) and running absolutely sweet. Cannot fault the service in any way, 5 stars all round!

Just a bit of feedback. The bike arrived beautifully set up - a little tweaking of stuff like gear lever angles, shock pressures, and ready to go. Definitely worth waiting for. Climbs amazingly well, and tracks beautifully on descent. Only limitation is my ability. he XTR groups is very slick and the brakes nicely progressive. I suspect I may change the rear tyre as it tends to slip when out of the saddle (a roadie habit). the size id spot on - at 6’ 5” and 180mm cranks I tend to hit my knees on the bars on many bikes, but not the Cube. I was also worried that I had under-ordered on suspension, but I haven’t bottomed out yet. I took it to Kielder yesterday and did a couple of reds, flashing past people on the uphills - not bad for a 57 yr old!

Been umming & ahhing about buying an electric bike for ages. Damian and his crew were fantastic in advising and (after much discussion!) I settled on the Scott E-Aspect. Had a minor glitch in delivery, which they sorted out rapidly - came with mountain bike tires, instead of road tires, which were posted the following day :o) Would (and have!) recommended them to everyone. Cannot describe how impressed I am with the bike. Haven't altered it in any way and yet, despite a slight current lack of fitness, I knocked over 20 minutes off my cycle to work time of 1 hour 30 minutes. This is entirely due to the increased speed going up the hills and, to a lesser extent, the ability to maintain a reasonable speed into a headwind. Hence, if you live in a hilly area and want to get somewhere quicker, or just want to take it slightly easier on a cycle ride, these bikes are fantastic!!!

Picked up my Haibike Xduro Nduro Pro this weekend and took it out for the first time today at Aston Hill. Aston Hill Bike Park has some great downhill trails but the push back up is a tough one but not anymore... the bike handles great and is exactly what I was looking for, it handled the jumps and technical sections a piece of cake :-) the ride back up was a breeze and took no time at all leaving me ready for the next down!! Damian has been great as the bikes had been delayed significantly from my initial order but he always gave me the best information as he could and once the bike came in he got it ready asap... top bloke and top shop!!!

After unboxing, I just had to attach the pedals and straighten/tighten the handlebars which had been loosened to enable the bike to fit in the box for transport, then I was out on a ride. The wife and I bought a sduro allmtn rc each and all I can say is wow, wow wow and more wow! Damian was right when he said you won't want to get off them! Don't think you'll be saving energy if you get one though. You'll put in the same effort climbing the hill but it will be 3 or 4 times quicker. Then do some downhill and straight back up again. These are even better than I'd imagined. Looking forwards now to exploring places that wouldn't have been possible before. We're 60+ btw.

What a fantastic service from Damian and team! I first went in asking cheekily to have a try on an Electric bike to which Damian happily obliged and paired me up with his Bosch driven bike to try and showed me to a path and suggested I had a good blast. After 10 minutes I knew it was for me and needed to get one! Fast forward a couple of weeks and I had ordered my bike on the Tuesday and collected on Thursday (at my request) my Cube Hybrid 400 ebike. This bike is wonderful to ride and gets a very heavy me up some very steep hills. I highly reccomend this, don't think just because you're big doesn't mean you can't have an electric bike! In summary, top bike, top service, extremely helpful and friendly. I Can't reccomend Damian Harris (and electric bikes) enough! Definitely THE place to buy an electric bike in Wales.

These guys were great, couldn't do enough for us! Bought two Sduro Trekking e-bikes for my wife and I. They went out of their way to help with finance, built the bikes for us in double quick time so as they could be delivered on our day off. Kept us in the loop by phoning us to let us know when the bikes would be arriving. As the delivery driver knocked on the door they phoned to check we had got them ok, amazing! Bought an electric Haibike Sduro Hardseven a couple of months ago, and couldn't be happier. After a brief live chat with a very helpful and knowledgeable staff member (sorry dude - forgot your name) I called and placed my order at the weekend. Bike fully assembled and delivered to me by Tuesday. BEST BIKE EVER! Have been using it for the daily commute (about 12 miles) for which it is perfect - arrive at work hardly even breathing heavy and no need for a shower, but the bike really comes to life when you go off road - it powers up slopes my 42-yr-old legs could never manage on their own and pushes on through deep mud with ease. Most fun I have ever had in lycra. A great bike from a great company, and I will be definitely be buying from Damian Harris Cycles when I can afford an upgrade! Thanks, guys.

When a website highlights 'Epic Customer Service' at the top of the home page they are giving themselves something to live up to! However, I am very pleased to say it is in my experience a well justified claim. Damian and his team are to be commended on making the purchase of a high value cycle a thoroughly enjoyable experience, great communications throughout and the packaging of the actual bike was exceptional in itself. If one thing sums up these guys, it is care and attention to detail in every aspect. It is clear they want the customer to have the great buying experience they would hope to receive themselves when spending their £'s. They are also aware that keen pricing makes for an even happier customer and I was able to purchase my new model Haibike at a discount even though it had only recently been launched thus delivering on their other website promise of 'We Won't Be Beaten On Price'. It is pretty obvious why this company has successfully been in business for 60yrs and continues to have an ever growing loyal customer base. They are passionate about what they do, epic customer service sums up the buying experience nicely and the price was the lowest in the UK when I looked. What is there not to love about purchasing your new bike from these guys?:) With regards to the Haibike Sduro with Yamaha power, it is all I had hoped it would be and then some, what a machine! I chose a Raleigh Captus Crossbar Blue by the details on Damian Harris's website. Initially there were none available until end of March 2016 and perhaps not even then, but Damien phoned Raleigh and managed to locate one and have it sent down. We agreed a sale unseen - risky I know, but I trusted Damien that the size would be compatible with my trusty Roberts and he had it built up and shipped to me. Small hiatus when, due to a misunderstanding the keys where forgotten but they were sent the next day with apologies. The bike is wonderful! At nearly 87 years old I'm not as good on the hills as I used to be and the ability to feed in power assistance seamlessly is just right so that I can cycle with a friend 30 years my junior and instead of him having to wait at the top of the hardest hills, now we can both can get a good work out. Any questions that I have posed to Damien and his staff have been answered promptly and with courtesy and my only concern is that they're a bit too far away to take the bike for servicing.

Damain found me the ebike I wanted, after taking his advice, none in the UK, but one in Holland. The Cube Dehli Pro EE is fab! The help I had was great, I have a back problem and need my bike set up to keep my spine supported. I was assured over the phone that there would be no problem. I went to the store to collect my bike. The attention to my needs was great. A friendly store, and knowledgable well founded advice. One extremely happy customer! Collected my new Cube Reaction HPA Race electric bike on Wednesday. Fantastic bike. I really didn`t want to stop riding, it`s so good. Purchasing my first road bike, I was understandably nervous. I finally took the plunge and ordered a Cube WLS Axial Pro. Alas it wasn't meant to be, despite the order being processed the bike wasn't available in my size. I spoke with Damian Harris on several occasions. He was really helpful on advising on an alternative. I couldn't be happier with my Cube Pelloton Pro. Everything right through to the delivery of my bike and refund was really friendly and efficient. After many hours searching and deciding I wanted a Cube Hyde Race, I then found out they were all sold out in the UK. I tried everywhere and although polite, no one wanted to help me. I came across Damian's website and called in. After speaking to one of the guys, he informed me he'd speak with the boss as he might be able to find one in my size. Damian himself rang me and explained that he'd scoured the country and put a request into Germany. 1 hour later he called and one had been found in Europe. It arrived within two weeks and I can't recommend this guy enough. My thanks!

Enquired on email about Cube Cross or Cube Cross Pro that had sold out in my size everywhere. After hours of searching nothing else floated my boat. Called and spoke to Damian himself about my requirements as he suggested and explained what I had, what I it would replace, what sort of riding I do etc. He clearly understood what I was after and suggested the Scott Sportster 10 which I'd not noticed in my searches but should have been my 1st choice. I trusted his judgement on the size too as I was right between XL and XXL. The bike has arrived and after seeing it and riding it 54 miles I am very grateful for the advice as it was spot on - both model and size. Delivery was good too, I got to choose the day and got a text from the courier in the morning with a 1 hour slot. In summary great to get friendly advice from someone who knows the products he's selling.

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. Damian helped me choose the perfect Electric bike for my height and weight as well as a bike that would be compatible with my wee girl`s bike seat. The price was really competitive and he was very friendly and helpful throughout. I live in Scotland so whenever I phoned with queries regarding the bike, Damian and Matt were extremely helpful. Matt made sure my bike was properly set up and that it made it on to the delivery van the same day as I paid for it. My bike was delivered free of charge the very next day and Matt gave me a really accurate delivery time. Later that day, I received a call from Damian just to check that I had received the bike and that everything was OK. Just purchased a cube cyclocross race pro from these guys. They were the only dealer who get their hands on one and the only dealer who advised a 56cm frame for my size, everyone else were adamant that I needed a 59 cm. They were bang on. A very friendly, knowledgeable and customer orientated shop, the way things should be done. I visited their shop in Cardiff, after visiting other shops local to me that just did not give me their time and advice. I rang up inquiring about a Scott road bike, but they were all sold, but their friendly attitude on the phone encouraged me to visit. I popped by while on a family visit and walked out having ordered a cube agree gtc sl, as I don't live in the area, they were able to deliver to my home address in Cambridge and were very flexible even with the last minute change of address due to house sitting issues. The bike arrived with minimal assembly required, when they say no problem, they really mean it.

I feel I must comment on the brilliant service given by Damian Cycles. My requirements were for a Dawes 43cm ladies road bike for my wife. Stand-over height was critical. Due to the small size this bike was not in stock. Damian advised that he could order from his supplier and deliver in five days. The bike was duly delivered at the stated date. First time confused road bike purchase, bit daunting as there is a number of different machines out there. Visited other shops in my neck of the woods. Sent Damian an email about what bike and size etc and he rang me up discussed bikes and sizes and gave my some insight into road bikes with numerous telephone conversations. He told me to measure my body a various points and send pictures so he could evaluate size of bike needed. He put a cracking package together for me which included bike, pedals and shoes and beat all other dealers hands down. But the price is only part of it, the service from Damian was fantastic, great stuff well done. If I need a upgrade or parts I would be straight onto Damian. I took my bike to Damien on a friends recommendation. They found a cracking in the frame. Damien could not have been more helpful. Helped with everything. Called the dealer and looked on the Web site to see where I stood guarantee wise. Told me what to say and helped arrange a warranty replacement. When I found out I couldn't get replacement frame, he rang round other dealers to see if what I had been offered was genuine. Even though it was obvious I was not going to be able to get a new bike from him he rang round again this included the main dealer who I believe are in America. To ensure I was getting a fair deal. Damien and everyone at the shop took customer service to the next level. Thanks for everything thing and guiding me through a difficult time. One of the genuine ones.

I had contacted several shops trying to buy a Dahon Expresso D21, I even did a 100 mile trip to see one but the well known cycle dealer was charging a sky high price. I had contacted an on-line dealer who was expecting stock later this month and then i found out that Damian Harris in Cardiff had one in stock and would price match. I got a great deal but I was very impressed with the way the sale was processed, the salesman's knowledge and even more impressed by the way that if a telephone call couldn't be immediately answered they texted you and also called you back. I placed the order and the bike was delivered the following day, free of charge because the bike was ex display and had minor marks, they even sent photos prior to delivery. It seems that Damian Harris want to sell bikes and know how to go about it, what a refreshing change from the apathy received from some of the dealers where I come from.

After I initially ordered a mongoose fireball and the only one left in stock had bent forks I was shocked by the generosity of damien Harris cycles when I received a polite friendly phone call and was offered a different but very similar bike. For the inconvenience of it all I was offered a Scott YZ 30, which is a fair bit more expensive than the fireball, for just the mere cost of the postage. It turned out that the colour I wanted wasnt in stock so again a friendly call from damien to apologise for the inconvenience and a very generous offer of the Scott YZ 20, which is a phenomenal bike compared the fireball which I initially ordered. I accepted with huge thanks was very happy when I recieved the bike on Friday. So a big thanks to damien Harris cycles, you will certainly be receiving my custom again in the near future!

I'd decided to buy a Scott Speedster, but went for 2011 model so I could get a better spech at lower price. Spoke to Damian, who told me they didn't have anymore in my size, but proceeded to look for reasonable alternatives - ended up offering me this year's model for not much more than I was originally prepared to pay. Very good communication with delivery issues, and patient with my own (unfounded) doubts concerning the bike / components on arrival. What stood out for me, and is particularly important when dealing with buying online, is the direct and efficient communication. Speaking personally, or being passed on quickly, to the boss of the company makes a huge difference to one's confidence and trust in who you're dealing with. I went to most of the bike shops in cardiff yesterday looking for a Carbon road bike,Could not find anyone who stocked a bike in my size as i am over 6ft 5 i went to Damian Harris cycles and was amazed they at a couple of very large road bikes 1 was a Moda and the other a Mekk. Sam very kindly gave me a bike fit and spent over an hour taking to me about those two models.I tried them both and the mekk felt better and it was on offer with over £400.00 of it.These guys really cared and as i am new to the cardiff area this will be the bike shop i will be using for all my cycling needs.

I recently bought a Scott Voltage FR20 from here, the original model i chose turned out to be out of stock, so they offered me the newer version and all of the team (i spoke to Damian & Joe) were extreamly helpfull, they offered help for putting the bike together and made sure the bike reached me as quickly as possible. Quality Very good Appeal Excellent Service Excellent I called Damian Cycles on the off chance of buying a Scott Foil 2012 I saw on the internet, however they were out of stock. I was passed on the the shop owner, Damian himself. He sorted me out a 2013 Scott Foil. He was very helpful and I even managed to get hold of him on his day off. The lads in the store were also very helpful and put up with my daft questions about the bike. When I bought the bike the shop was very communicative in letting me know what process they were going through and when I could expect delivery. The bike arrived well packed and secure the next day and was pretty much assembled. I managed to get my hands on a brand new Dawes Ultra Galaxy thanks to the guys from Damian Harris cycles. Due to my location, I haven`t visited the shop, but only spoke through the phone. What a fantastic shop. We have been dealing with Damian for many years. I needed a new bike and he gave me sound advice. Made sure I did not spend more than I needed to, even though I had a larger budget if need be. I am very short ( 5 foot) and they do not make frames for little people like they used to. I was let down by another company after locating a dirt bike that my son wanted for his birthday. After a few phone calls I was worried that I was not going to be able to get this particular bike before the big day, everyone seemed to say that the bike was not in stock and that new stock was not going to be delivered until mid June. I rang Damian Harris and was met by a very helpful sales man (sorry didn't take the name!) who spoke with Damian, next minute they were on the phone to the Scott factory. Within ten minutes they called back to say they had one and that it could be with me within 5 days from Switzerland! I've had several calls updating me to its whereabouts and it arrives tomorrow - I have a VERY excited 15 year old son. Thank you all so much! Scott Genuis LT 20 accross Scotland – june 2011 I made this purchase in anticipation of a mega trip with two friends on a 190 mile off road west to east traverse across the Cairngorms from Fort William to Aviemore and on to Mount Keen (900m) and beyond to Montrose. A do it all light weight machine was required. My two compatriots on Zesty 514s had the edge by a couple of pounds but did they have the versatility of lockout or reduced travel for the long fire road ascents the river crossings and road sections or the geometry and travel for the monster descents? Firstly the bike came tubeless ready but with tubes installed. These were quickly removed and after adding some “stans” reinflated to preferred pressures. The stock tyres are big enough to allow plenty of variation on pressures to suit condtions. The standard Scott saddle was swapped for something more forgiving for the week ahead. The suspension was already set up by the nice people at Damian Harris. Twinlock on the bars was immediately tested and worked a treat, though be careful when flipping the bike over for maintainance as it is proud and contacts the hard surface when placed upside down. Once off the train we commenced our journey east from Fort William in torrential conditions. No difficulties with the multiple river crossings on the way to the Witches trails and Gondola at the world cup downhill though not equipped with full face helmets and body armour we were only permitted entry to the red route. Full travel mode was dialled in and the suspension came into its own with the 203 Avid rotor doing its job upfront on the awesome downhill run. The dropper post enables you to tackle the steep stuff without a pause just keeping rolling dropping the post down as you go. Leaving the Zestys’ for dead was a nice feeling. Many a loch and 5 nights later remarkably no mechanical issues or any punctures we arrived at mount Keen. A long push up to just shy of the summit in 60mph wind was no fun but it was worth it for the 5 mile descent on rocky paths with boulders flying up in all directions, a little unnerving on a carbon frame bike. All in all no incidents no damage and a wonderful experience riding on the mountain passes with herds of wild reindeer and not a sole in sight for hours on end. The Scott performed admirably after 6 days punishment in all conditions. I found the geometry perfect for me 5’7” on a medium frame . Avid R Brakes are excellent with good feel and stopping power . X9 shifters positive and accurate. A great performing all mountain machine no doubt about it.

I phoned enquiring about the availability of a bike at 1330 on Friday - it was delivered the following day (today - Saturday) before 9am! Not bad considering I live miles away in the North East of England! The bike is perfect and to top it all off I got a deal which meant the bike was quite possibly the cheapest in the UK. The original bike i wanted was actually sold out :( However after receiving a phone call from Damien the problem was resolved quickly and i ended up with the same bike but in a different colour (that was nicer anyway). I thought due to this problem i would receive my bike later than i expected, how wrong i was! I orderd my bike on a Friday and got it on Tuesday just the next week, now coming half way across the country i think this is very quick. All i can say to anyone who is reading this and wondering what bike shop to use, USE THIS ONE, its great you wont be disappointed ! I found Damian Harris cycles on Google while i was searching for a 2010 cr1 frame. I contacted Damian but was unable to get my size ,so after talking to Damian it was as cheap to buy a complete bike so i got a 2011 cr1 team. The service i got was first class good honest advice and when bike was ready to go Damian called me to let me know and the bike was on my door step next day he then followed up to make sure it had arrived and all was good so this is a bike shop that i will be dealing with again. In ordering a Scott CR1 2011 model, Damien and his team provided excellent (and i mean excellent) customer service. Damien managed to get the bike delievered to my house with 5 working day and at a very competitive price. This was quite incredible due to the high demand for new bikes in 2011 and also a waiting list of up to 3 months at most bike retailers for the Scott CR1 2011. The bike arrived in great condition and having taken it out every weekend since recieving it in early Feb I have to say that I am incredibly pleased. Bought a Mongoose Crossway 350 which arrived next day. Very impressive bike and was well over £100 cheaper than anywhere else. Easily put together and rode it to work today - first time on a bike for 2 years, going to be a regular occurance I feel! After wanting a Pashley Poppy for months, I finally decided to buy one. There were dealers nearer to my home, but after ringing around, Damian Harris Cycles had the most friendly and helpful staff. Despite being on the other side of the country, the staff helped me process the finance, sent me all the forms in the post and kept me updated constantly. The bike arrived quicker than had previously been suggested, which was fantastic, and was posted out to me very swiftly. Upon receipt of the Poppy, I was very pleased to see that the bike had been sent with the utmost care, and the staff also called me back to find out whether I was pleased with my purchase. After having 3 bikes stolen over Christmas was looking to replace them. Visited a local bike shop less than half a mile away, and the service was appalling. Would not do a deal on two bikes and not very help full at all. Gave up and looked on the internet and came across Damian Harris Cycles. Had the bike I required, rang them and spoke to them and what a change. So polite and help full!! Cannot be more pleased. Done a great deal on 2 bikes. The communication was fantastic. Absolutely brilliant customer service, these guys are able to source any bike and are very competitive on price. They really go out of their way to find the bike that’s right for you and don’t just sell you what they have in stock, unlike many other stores!! Tried several bike shops on-line and locally to find a Scott Voltage for my youngest son. No one offered the assistance or customer care that Damian did, he sourced it from Scott when they didn\'t have one in stock. Subsequently ordered my eldest a bike too. Tried A Few Stores And Internet For A Scott Addict R2 Road Bike For My Son, Got Put Off By One And Let Down By Another, Tried Damien Harris On The Off Chance And New Instantly That Customer Service Had Arrived. Extremely Helpfull And Knowledgeable Got Offered A Good Deal, Ordered The Bike Which Was Brought In From Belgium. Delivered To Us On Overnight From TNT The Day After It Was Delivered To Damien In Cardiff. After Looking Around Cycle Shops And On Internet, I Was Very Pleased To Buy A Claude Butler Glyde 2 Pedal Assist Electric Bike,its A Great Bike Easy Comfortable To Ride And It Gets Me Fitter And Healthier. The Electric Assist Is Great When You Need That Extra Power On Gradients. Ideal Bike For Those The Wrong Side Of 50. Damien Is So Knowledgable About Bikes And Is Very Helpful On All Aspects Of Cycling And Excellent Service Would Really Recommend A Visit.
