Merida One-Sixty FR 800 2027 – Full Suspension Enduro Mountain Bike
Take on the toughest trails with the Merida One-Sixty FR 800 2027, a hard-hitting full suspension enduro mountain bike built for aggressive trail riding, bike park sessions and demanding downhill terrain. Combining a tough Lite III aluminium frame with long-travel RockShox suspension, powerful SRAM Maven brakes and a confidence-inspiring 29"/27.5" mullet wheel setup, the One-Sixty FR 800 is designed for riders who want maximum capability when the trail gets rough.
Built for Aggressive Enduro Riding
The 2027 Merida One-Sixty FR 800 is based around Merida's Lite III aluminium One-Sixty frame, featuring next-generation enduro geometry, internal cable routing and a flip-chip system that allows the bike to run either its standard mullet configuration or a full 29-inch wheel setup.
With 171mm of rear wheel travel and a 180mm front suspension fork, the One-Sixty FR 800 is built to handle technical descents, rough rock gardens, steep lines and demanding bike park terrain.
RockShox ZEB Ultimate 180mm Fork
Up front, the RockShox ZEB Ultimate air fork delivers 180mm of suspension travel and is designed for aggressive riding where control and stiffness are essential. At the rear, a RockShox Vivid coil shock works with Merida's FAST kinematic suspension platform to provide controlled performance across challenging terrain.
The rear shock uses size-specific spring rates, helping the suspension characteristics remain appropriate across the available frame sizes.
29"/27.5" Mullet Wheel Setup
The Merida One-Sixty FR 800 comes equipped with a 29-inch front wheel and 27.5-inch rear wheel. This mullet configuration combines the rollover ability of a larger front wheel with the agility of a smaller rear wheel, making it well suited to aggressive cornering and technical trails.
The bike uses DT Swiss F 1900 aluminium wheels with a 30mm internal rim width and tubeless-ready construction. Continental Kryptotal tyres complete the setup, with a 29 x 2.4-inch Enduro casing tyre at the front and a 27.5 x 2.4-inch Downhill casing tyre at the rear.
Powerful SRAM Maven 4-Piston Brakes
When you're riding steep and technical terrain, reliable braking is essential. The One-Sixty FR 800 is equipped with SRAM Maven four-piston hydraulic disc brakes, paired with large 220mm front and 200mm rear rotors, providing strong braking performance and control when you need to slow down quickly.
Shimano Deore 1x12 Drivetrain
A Shimano Deore 1x12-speed drivetrain provides a wide 10-51T cassette for tackling steep climbs and technical approaches. The simple 1x setup keeps the cockpit clean while offering a broad range of gears for demanding enduro rides.
Long-Travel Dropper Post
The Merida Expert TR IV dropper post features size-specific travel, ranging from 170mm on the XShort frame through to 230mm on the larger Long and XLong sizes. This allows riders to quickly lower the saddle on steep descents and technical sections while maintaining an efficient climbing position when required.
