Returns

  1. All products are inspected by hand prior to dispatch. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply e-mail us at info@damianharriscycles.co.uk, or call 02920 529 955 or 07739 763 766 and we shall arrange to receive your product item to within 24 hours.

    Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery of any damage to the goods, as we may not be in a position to exchange damaged items at a later time.

    Goods must be returned in their original packaging and in new condition. Any goods that are not in their original packaging cannot be returned.

    Photographic evidence may be required in order to replace damaged parts.

    Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, a customer is allowed to return an item if they simply change their mind. A customer has the right to cancel at any time from the moment they place their online or mail order, and up to 14 days from the day they receive the goods. The customer then has a further 14 days from the date they notify the retailer of their cancellation to return the goods - There are exemptions to online returns which include tailor made/personalised goods.

    30 days right to reject:
    Under the Consumer Rights Act you have a legal right to reject goods that are of unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described, and get a full refund - as long as you do this quickly. This right is limited to 30 days from the date you buy your product.
     
    In the first 30 days after purchase, you have the right to reject the goods. This means you can return an item that doesn’t meet the three criteria for a full refund.

    Please return goods to us in their original condition**. We will issue a full refund (excluding original delivery charge) on receipt, or exchange the item if preferred (only if available). A refund or exchange will not be given for unwanted gifts or any other reason.

    **Note: please ensure that you do not damage or mark the item. We will be unable to accept items that are damaged or marked. Your purchase must be returned in its original packaging with any enclosed documentation.

    Please note:
    The goods are your responsibility until they reach us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.

    PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU KEEP THE BOX, IN CASE YOU DECIDE TO SEND THE BIKE BACK TO US.

    The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility. All items requiring an exchange will be subject to an additional delivery charge.

    The parcel can take up to 7 working days to be returned to us unless sent via special delivery.

  2. What if my purchase has a fault?

    If the item you received is faulty, please contact us quoting your order number, name and address, details of the product and the reason for return, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return. You have 14 days from receipt of the faulty item to return it to us.

  3. If I received the wrong item?

    If the item you received is not what you originally ordered, please contact us quoting your order number, name and address, details of the product and the reason for return, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return.

    This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

  4. Shipping And Handling

    Working days are Monday to Friday. However, there may be circumstances beyond our control which cause delay and in such circumstances we will endeavour to deliver the goods within 7 days of the date the order was made.

    A signature will be required on all deliveries.

    We use SagePay to securely handle all online payments, to give you added security when making a purchase. Your credit card details are not held by us in any form whatsoever.

  5. WARRANTY

    INCLUSIONS

    • Covers the original purchaser only.
    • Frame or forks cracking due to manufacturing defect.
    • Replacement of original components with a manufacturing defect.
    • Claims made via the original manufacturer or alternative retailer must be approved prior to work commencing.
    • Labour charges of the original retailer to replace faulty components in the first year.

    EXCLUSIONS 

    • Normal wear and tear.
    • Wearable parts specifically: chain, cassette, tires, spokes, hubs, mudguards, free hubs, bearings, brake pads / discs, grips etc unless manufacturing defect has occurred and can be proven.
    • Bikes that have been modified from the original spec and have not been approved by the manufacturer.
    • E-bikes that have the motor adjusted in any way.
    • Accidental damage or misuse.
    • Improper maintenance or zero maintenance.
    • Neglect such as corrosion due to storage outdoors or damp conditions.
    • Damage caused by racing in competition (crash replacement is available for anyone who accidentally damages a bike)
    • Stunt riding e.g. wheelies.
    • Commercial use e.g. hiring of bikes.
    • Decals on wheels / other components.
    • Soiled or ex-demo bikes will carry no warranty from the manufacturer, the retailer conditions will apply.
    • Claims made by an alternative retailer.
    • Labour charges of the retailer after year 1.
