Merida Silex 9000 2027 Gravel Bike
Take your riding further with the Merida Silex 9000 2027, a premium carbon gravel bike built for adventure, exploration and demanding all-road riding. Combining a lightweight Silex CF2 II carbon frame with a full-carbon fork, electronic Shimano GRX Di2 shifting and Reynolds carbon wheels, the Silex 9000 is designed to deliver confident handling and high-performance gravel capability.
The Silex 9000 features Shimano GRX825 Di2 electronic 1x12-speed shifting with a GRX827 Di2 rear derailleur and a 42-tooth GRX820-1 chainset. With a wide-range 10-51T 12-speed cassette, this gravel bike provides a versatile gearing range for fast road sections, steep climbs and challenging off-road routes.
At the heart of the bike is the SILEX CF2 II carbon frame, using MTB-inspired gravel geometry to provide stable, confidence-inspiring handling when riding away from the tarmac. The Silex platform also offers multiple mounting points for bottles, bags and accessories, making the Merida Silex 9000 an excellent choice for gravel adventures, bikepacking and long-distance exploration.
The Reynolds BL ATR Expert CL carbon wheelset combines low weight with a 25mm internal rim width and 42mm rim depth, while the 700x45c G-ONE RX Performance Line tyres provide a capable setup for mixed-surface riding. The frame allows clearance for tyres up to 700x45c, or 42c with mudguards.
Stopping power comes from Shimano GRX825 hydraulic disc brakes, while the Easton EC90 AX carbon handlebar and Merida Team SL II carbon seatpost complete a premium specification. The bike is finished in Halo Green Fade (Silver Green) and is available in a range of sizes.
