The Merida eSilex 400 2027 is a versatile electric gravel bike designed to take you further, whether you're riding gravel tracks, country lanes, commuting through town or heading out for longer all-road adventures. Combining the natural feel of a gravel bike with discreet electric assistance, the eSilex 400 is built for riders who want more freedom to explore.
At the heart of the Merida eSilex 400 2027 is the MAHLE X30 rear-hub motor, delivering smooth and natural-feeling assistance when you need it. The motor is powered by a neatly integrated 237Wh MAHLE battery, helping maintain the clean lines and familiar ride feel of a conventional gravel bike while providing useful assistance on climbs, headwinds and longer rides.
The eSilex 400 features a lightweight and durable eSILEX AL-A IV aluminium frame paired with a MERIDA SILEX II CF2 carbon fork. The frame accommodates tyres up to 700 x 45C, while the supplied Schwalbe G-One Comp K-Guard 700 x 45C tyres provide a versatile setup for mixed surfaces, gravel roads and everyday riding.
For dependable shifting across varied terrain, the Shimano GRX 400 2x10-speed groupset provides a wide range of gearing, with a 46/30T chainset and 11-36T cassette. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes provide controlled braking performance, making the Merida eSilex 400 a confident choice for changing weather and varied riding conditions.
The 2027 Merida eSilex 400 also features tubeless-ready aluminium wheels, internal cable routing and practical mounting options, making it suitable for everything from daily commuting to weekend gravel adventures and longer mixed-surface rides.
