With 170mm of rear suspension travel, an innovative integrated suspension system and a progressive six-link suspension design, the SCOTT Ransom RC provides a capable platform for building a high-performance enduro mountain bike.
Premium SCOTT Ransom HMX Carbon Frame
At the heart of the SCOTT Ransom RC is the Ransom Carbon HMX mainframe, combining premium carbon construction with an integrated suspension layout. The frame is designed to deliver a balanced combination of strength, handling precision and stability for demanding trail riding.
The integrated suspension technology and six-link kinematic work together to provide controlled suspension performance, helping the bike remain composed over rough terrain, steep descents and technical trail sections.
Öhlins TTX 22 M.2 Rear Shock
The SCOTT Ransom RC Frame + Shock comes equipped with an Öhlins TTX 22 M.2 rear shock, featuring high-speed compression, low-speed compression and rebound adjustment. Developed with a SCOTT-specific tune, the shock allows riders to fine-tune their suspension setup to suit different trails, riding styles and terrain conditions.
With a 205 x 65mm shock size and 170mm rear suspension travel, the system provides a capable platform for aggressive enduro riding.
Adjustable Geometry and Suspension Design
The SCOTT Ransom RC is designed with versatility and adjustability in mind. Its adjustable head angle allows riders to tailor the handling to their preferences, while the frame's mullet-ready design supports different wheel-size configurations when set up with compatible components.
The integrated suspension system is engineered to balance downhill capability with efficient pedalling, making the Ransom RC suitable for demanding all-mountain and enduro adventures.
Integrated Cable Routing and Modern Compatibility
Clean cable integration helps create a streamlined appearance, while the UDH-compatible rear derailleur interface provides compatibility with supported modern drivetrain systems. The frame also features a 12 x 148mm Boost rear axle standard and a BB92 bottom bracket shell.
