The Perfect Balance of Tyre Clearance and Performance
The new Mission hits the ideal middle ground between road efficiency and gravel capability. With clearance for tyres up to 40 mm, it offers more off-road grip than the Scultura Endurance (35 mm) while maintaining a sleeker, faster profile than the Silex (45 mm). The result? A gravel race bike that delivers confident traction without compromising aerodynamic speed.
Aerodynamic Design for Maximum Speed
Taking inspiration from the Scultura and Scultura Endurance platforms, the Mission features refined tube profiles that deliver measurable aerodynamic gains. When paired with our Team SL GR1P one-piece carbon cockpit, the result is a faster, more efficient ride. This aerodynamic focus gives the Mission a clear edge over its gravel-focused sibling, the Silex.

The Mission was developed as a purpose-built gravel race bike designed for the fast-growing world of competitive gravel events, including the UCI Gravel World Championship and UCI Gravel World Series. Engineered for both speed and control, it delivers a responsive, race-ready ride for gravel enthusiasts and Team Bahrain Victorious alike. Beyond racing, the Mission shines as a true all-rounder—equally at home on tarmac or rough terrain. Its lightweight carbon frame and balanced, sporty geometry make it the perfect mixed-surface performance bike.

Lightweight Carbon Frame for Pure Performance
Designed for riders who prioritize speed and precision, the Mission is built for fast-paced gravel racing and one-day events rather than long-distance touring. Every model features our premium CF4-level lightweight carbon frame—engineered for the perfect balance of low weight, exceptional strength, and race-ready stiffness. Available in five performance specifications, the Mission delivers uncompromising efficiency for competitive gravel riders.
Groupset & Drive Chain
The Mission is designed with the new 13-speed XPLR group sets from SRAM in mind, featured on the 6000, 9000 and 10K models. These offer off-road proven shifting performance, low weight, extensive gear range and simplicity. Ideal for more off-road-oriented riders.
The Shimano 2x-equipped 4000 and 7000 offer an even wider gear range, making them slightly more user-friendly for all-road sessions.
The Mission frame can also accommodate 2x road group sets, an important consideration when developing the concept. This is particularly important for multi-surface riders or dedicated UCI-style gravel racers seeking the all-important close gear spacing only a dedicated 2x road groupset can offer.
G.U.T. STORAGE SYSTEM
storage compartment in the down tube, accessible via a Fidlock hatch, provides space for spare tubes, tools or any other riding or racing essentials, all neatly stored in a custom-made bag to prevent rattling on rough surfaces. G.U.T. stands for 'Gear, Useful Things'.
TEAM SL GR1P COCKPIT
Merida Team SL GR1P cockpit: Based on the one-piece carbon cockpit on the Reacto, Scultura and Scultura Endurance, the GR ‘gravel’ version offers a wider flare and more gravel-oriented shape to improve control on rough surfaces whilst maintaining its aero focus and cable integration options. The Merida Team SL GR1P cockpit is available on the 7000, 9000 and 10K models.
