The 2021 Cannondale Cujo 24+ is an excellent bike for just about any kid. The beautiful looking frame rolls on 24” wheels which are the perfect size for a youngster looking to improve their cycling skills. Make no mistake, this is an aluminium mountain bike, so it can do a lot more than just go up and down your street. It can handle easy trails in the park as well, and it lets you take your young ones on your next mountain biking adventure.
The 24” wheels come with Kenda’s Slant Six tyres, which are 2.6” thick and get plenty of grip. This ensures the bike feels stable and planted regardless of the surface that’s beneath it, and stopping power is provided by a pair of Tektro mechanical disk brakes. They’re reliable, and simple to use and maintain. You also get a pair of more compact brake levers that are made for smaller hands and allow kids to easily use the brakes’ full power.
An 8-speed drivetrain with Shimano components and a Revo Twist shifter is very easy to use and get the hang of, and when combined with a 30T crankset, you’ve got a great selection of gears. A great bike to learn and improve on!
