Built for riders who want serious downhill capability without sacrificing climbing efficiency, the latest Ransom combines an advanced carbon frame, long-travel suspension and aggressive trail geometry to deliver a fast, stable and confidence-inspiring ride.
At the heart of the Scott Ransom 20 2027 is a Ransom Carbon HMF mainframe paired with an alloy 6061 rear end and Scott's six-link suspension design. The integrated suspension technology is engineered to provide controlled performance on rough terrain while maintaining efficient pedalling when the trail points upwards.
170mm of Enduro Suspension
With 170mm of front and rear suspension travel, the Ransom 20 is designed to tackle big hits, technical rock gardens, steep lines and demanding descents. A Marzocchi Z1 fork works with a custom-tuned Marzocchi Bomber Air rear shock, giving the bike the suspension performance needed for aggressive enduro riding.
SRAM Eagle 70 12-Speed Drivetrain
The SRAM Eagle 70 Transmission 12-speed drivetrain provides a wide 10-52T cassette range, giving you the gearing required for challenging climbs as well as fast trail riding. The 32T chainring and wide-range cassette offer a practical balance for riders who want to pedal to the top before attacking the descent.
