Brief description
If you’ve ever wanted to experience a carbon XC racing frame and everything it has to offer, the Cube Reaction C:62 One is the perfect bike to provide you with that. With a great selection of components and a frame that combines low weight, high comfort and precise handling, this bike rides like a dream whether you’re pushing a climb or powering through a descent.
Detailed explanation
Cube’s 2021 Reaction C:62 One comes with a C:62 Monocoque carbon fibre frame with a tapered headtube and a PressFit bottom bracket. Paired with the ability to run a dropper seat post, as well as integrated cable routing and a Boost rear thru-axle, this is an excellent frame for a race-ready bike. The frame is stiff enough when you push it hard on the uphills, yet absorbs plenty of vibration, making it a very comfortable choice.
At the front, there’s an SR Suntour air suspension fork to make things smooth, and it works like a dream. The drivetrain is a combination of SRAM’s NX Eagle and SX Eagle components, a choice that’s lightweight, accurate and precise even under load. Paired with Magura’s two-piston MT Thirty brakes, this is an excellent all-around performer. The wheels are tubeless-ready, so you can get an even more comfortable ride, with fewer punctures.
With the Reaction C:62, not only will you be smashing records on the climbs, but you’re also guaranteed to get a grin on your face when you point it downhill. The perfect do-it-all hardtail mountain bike for the folks looking for a carbon fibre frame? Definitely.

| Previous model reviewed. Absolutely love the One77. Stable, aggressive, and insanely confidence-inspiring on descents, yet climbs better than expected. Powerful motor, great range, and bombproof components. A true no-compromise e-enduro beast. | |||||
