The Cube Stereo Hybrid ONE44 HPC SLX EVO 800 takes an already accomplished carbon trail eMTB and adds technology where it genuinely makes a difference. Shimano XT Di2 electronic shifting and Bosch ABS Pro bring greater precision and control, while 150mm Fox suspension, Bosch CX power and an 800Wh battery provide the foundations for serious trail riding.
The Artline finish makes this particular version even more distinctive. Each frame is individually hand-dipped, so the pattern is unique to the bike - an unusually individual treatment for a machine whose engineering is otherwise very purposeful. (cube.eu)
At its heart is Cube’s C:62 carbon front triangle, paired with an aluminium rear triangle and 140mm of rear-wheel travel. A Fox 36 Performance fork provides 150mm of travel at the front, creating a balanced platform that is capable on technical descents without turning the ONE44 into an excessively heavy or cumbersome enduro bike. Power comes from the latest Bosch Performance Line CX drive system, capable of up to 120Nm of torque, with a fully integrated 800Wh PowerTube battery. Assistance is powerful but controllable, making steep climbs and longer days in the hills considerably more accessible. Where the EVO earns its name
The most significant upgrade is the Shimano XT Di2 12-speed drivetrain. Electronic shifting delivers consistently fast, precise gear changes without relying on a mechanical shift cable, giving the drivetrain a particularly crisp and refined feel when riding under changing loads and across technical terrain. Braking is equally sophisticated. Shimano XT hydraulic disc brakes with 203mm rotors are paired with Bosch ABS Pro, which regulates braking pressure at the front wheel when required. Bosch developed the system specifically for performance riding, allowing hard braking with greater control and reduced risk of the front wheel locking.
